You don't have to be injured to benefit. Long travel days, rehearsals, soundchecks, repetitive performances, and hours on stage can lead to stiffness, fatigue, and movement restrictions that affect how you feel and perform. Performance Physical Therapy is designed to address those issues before they become bigger problems.

Massage can absolutely feel great and help reduce muscle tension, but its primary goal isn't to prepare your body for the specific demands of a live performance.

Performance Physical Therapy starts with understanding how you move.

Before treatment, I observe your movement during soundcheck and assess the unique physical demands of your performance. From there, I develop a treatment plan specific to your body that day. Treatment may include hands-on therapy, mobility work, movement preparation, breathing strategies, activation, and recovery techniques.

Just as importantly, I don't want the benefits to end when the session does.

You'll leave with practical strategies you can use yourself—whether you're on a tour bus, in a hotel room, or backstage before your next show. My goal is to give you tools you can rely on between sessions to maintain mobility, improve movement quality, and support longevity throughout your career.

Each session is tailored to the performer. Depending on the artist's needs, I may assess movement, address areas of tension, improve joint and soft tissue mobility, prepare the body for performance, or provide recovery strategies after the show. Sessions are designed to integrate seamlessly into the backstage schedule.

Every performance places different demands on the body. Observing soundcheck allows me to see how an artist moves in their performance environment, identify movement patterns, areas of tension, and physical demands unique to that show. That information helps guide a treatment plan tailored specifically to the performer and the performance and is not a one-size-fits-all routine.

Yes. Services are available for individual artists, touring productions, festivals, and multi-artist events. Support can be provided for one performance, a weekend festival, or throughout an entire tour.
